Kairos

Scheduling for groups who all need to be there.

Kairos books sessions only when every host is free and has said yes to that time. Hosts connect their calendars and offer times; guests pick from what everyone agreed.

How it works

  1. 1

    Hosts connect their calendars

Each Host signs in with Google. Kairos reads only free/busy time — never what your events say.

  2. 2

Hosts offer the times they want

Being free is not the same as wanting to meet. Every Host says yes to specific Slots, once or as a weekly Standing Offer.

  3. 3

    Guests book what everyone agreed

A Slot opens only when every Host has offered it and nobody is busy. The Guest picks one from a private link and the event lands in every Host’s calendar.

What Kairos never does

  • Read the titles, descriptions or attendees of your calendar events.
  • Offer a time on your behalf — suggestions stay suggestions until you accept them.
  • Show a Guest your calendar — they see Open Slots, never your Busy time or why.
  • Track visitors, sell data or use it to train models.

Where it stands

Kairos is in daily use by one team and is being prepared for release as open-source software (AGPL), so any group can run its own copy. Sign-in is by invitation for now.
